CHRIS BRANTLEY (he/him)
Guitar specialist. A multi-instrumentalist, teacher, and guitar technician at Cadenza Music. Chris was immediately consumed by guitar at the age of 10. At 12, he was playing solos in his middle school jazz band. Now, he teaches acoustic and electric guitar, bass, mandolin, and ukulele, and performs regularly around the Twin Cities in multiple bands. He recently completed a course at the Chicago School of Guitar Making and is now certified in re-fretting and fret-leveling.

ANDY DENNY (he/him)
Graduated with honors in stringed instrument repair from Southeast Technical College (Red Wing) where he studied violin with Lisbeth Nelson-Butler. He has built banjos at Nechville Musical Products in Bloomington, Minnesota and does violin repair and restoration for David Folland in Northfield, Minnesota. Andy builds banjos in his free time.

re-string
Corrosion is inevitable and strings wear out. We have all the tools to efficiently re-string your instrument so that it’s playing smooth once again.
setup
Like a re-string, but with way more benefits:
- change strings
- adjust neck, tuners, hardware, saddle height (electrics), bridge (banjo), truss rod, tremolo and tailpiece (where applicable)
- adjust intonation for tuning stability across the fretboard
installing parts
There are lots of moving parts on fretted sting instruments, and we can aways swap out or add simple things to make your playing experience better. A new nut or saddle can drastically change the way a guitar resonates, and a strap button could allow you to play more freely!
fret dress/polish/level/file
The fretboard is where the magic happens, so don’t let it go un-cared-for. We can make sure everything is hydrated, polished, and smooth so that you don’t get interrupted while you play.
