Brick By Brick AntiRacist Story Hour at Cadenza

Brick by Brick is a community space for children and their caregivers to listen to stories, create art, ask questions and practice anti-racism. Storytellers Morgan, Alsa, and Ellen guide families through fun, play, openness, and silliness, because creating joy together is anti-racist! And YES! There will be snacks!

This is a program of New City Church and Northeast United Methodist Church - organizations that center marginalized voices and invite the doubts and questions of people who do not identify as Christian. Our books and activities are not faith-based, and we welcome families of any race, religion, gender, sexuality, national origin, or disability status.

FREE and open to all!

Sister Esmerlinda is a fiddle-loving genre-crossing duo of Dean Magraw and Zack Kline.  Both are veteran performers who have logged many hours and miles playing music over the years.  At this point though, they like most to play in a small acoustic setting like Cadenza, with no amplification between you and the musical moment.
